Teledyne FLIR OEM Announces End of Sales for SIRAS Drone; Reaffirms Focus on UAS Components

Teledyne FLIR OEM will conclude sales of the SIRAS professional drone as of August 31, 2025. We remain fully committed to supporting our channel partners and all existing SIRAS customers with contracted warranty service, parts, and technical assistance through September 30, 2027.

Since its launch in September 2022, SIRAS has played a vital role in mission-critical applications across public safety and industrial inspection. We are deeply grateful to the customers and partners who trusted SIRAS to deliver performance, reliability, security, and situational awareness in demanding environments.

This strategic shift enables us to accelerate innovation in high-impact areas including defense, automotive, and AI-powered decision support.

Our industry-leading thermal camera modules will continue to be integrated into platforms from Teledyne FLIR Defense, Skydio, Red Cat, AerialOGI, and others. Teledyne FLIR Defense remains committed to delivering advanced drone airframes, including SkyRanger and Black Hornet.
